Union Clerical and Libraries

The New School recognizes Local 1205, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, as the collective bargaining unit for office clerical employees and librarians, including but not limited to

  • Office Assistants
  • Secretaries
  • Accounting Clerks
  • Library Clerks
  • Librarians
  • Librarian's Assistants
  • Mail/Duplicating Clerks

All employees who belong to this union and supervisors of such employees must thoroughly review the contract between the university and Local 1205, IBT.
