STUDENTS AND FACULTY: Instructors may use Blackboard to post assignments, announcements, readings, and content such as lectures, video, etc., as well as for discussions, blogs and wikis, grading, and more.

Getting Started

You may use Blackboard with Macintosh and Windows computers. A mobile app is also available for Apple mobile devices and some Android phones.

In classes with rich media components such as video and large sound files, you will need access to a broadband Internet connection (cable or DSL, for most users). Individual classes may require additional software. Your instructor will let you know about any special software requirements early in the semester.
