Photo Plotters

Overview

The Print Output Center (POC) Plotting is a service provided by Academic Technology for large-sized files which are output on high-quality thermal satin semi-gloss paper. The photo plotters have a printable width of 58 inches and can print up to ten feet in length. Access

The photo plotters are available during Print Output Center hours of operation. All photo plotter orders are submitted for processing at the Print Output Center (55 West 13th Street; room 408) and may require up to three days to process and print.

Use

The photo plotter services are suitable for high-quality output of photographic and/or graphic images.

Getting Started

All files submitted for the photo plotter must meet the following criteria & guidelines.

  •  Files may be no larger than 58” x 120"  
  •  File(s) must be submitted as .pdf  
  •  Cost is determined by paper setup  
  •  All transactions require presentation of your New Card.  
  •  Black and white sample(s) must be included  
  •  File size in excess of 100MB may require compression, resubmission 
  •  File must be submitted on CD or DVD  
  •  Do not use “registration black”   
  •  Maximum resolution is 300 dpi  
  •  Only one user per order form  
  •  No more than three files may be submitted per request  
  •  Person who submitted file(s) must be present at point of submission. No Proxies.  
  •  Requests for reprints must be submitted via web form by logging in to MyNewschool, Report A Problem
  •  Allow 3 days to process your request
