The New School offers the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection as a free download.

Anti-virus software and current virus definitions are required for a Windows PC to connect to "newschoolnet".

We recommend that you install anti-virus software on all your personally-owned computers, including Macs.

To get the software, log in to MyNewSchool and go to the "Student", "Faculty" or "Employee" tab. Look in the Information Technology channel under "Deals". To participate, you will be asked to agree to a License Agreement, enter your secure NetID username and password, and download and install the software.
