A key component of The New School’s decennial reaccreditation process is the Self-Study. Links to the annotated outlines of the chapters, which will compose the Self Study to be submitted to the Middle States Commission in spring 2014 can be found below. Six working groups produced these outlines and are currently expanding them into full chapters that will be available to The New School community early in the fall 2013 semester.

We welcome your feedback on the annotated outlines. To put the outlines into the broader context of the accreditation process, please refer to the other information provided on this website, especially The New School’s Institutional Self-Study Design, which was approved by the Middle States in the early stages of this process.

An external evaluation team will review the Self-Study and make a visit to campus in spring 2014 to complete the decennial reaccreditation process.
