2012 W-2 Tax Forms Mailed
W-2 Tax Statements for 2012 have been mailed to each New School employee’s home address of record. Please allow five business days for your statement to arrive. When you receive your W-2, check it immediately to see that your name, address, and social security number are correct and that you can read all the information clearly.
You can see your 2012 W-2 statement online by logging into MyNewSchool, selecting the Employee tab, and opening the W-2 Tax Information link in the Self-Service menu. You can print a copy of your W-2 using the Printable W-2 button at the bottom of the W-2 Tax Information page.
If you need help interpreting the W-2 form, you can download the Explanation of Amounts Reported on the Form W-2 (PDF)*. If you would like to understand in detail the calculation of your taxable wages, you can download and complete the Taxable Wage Worksheet (PDF) using your own payroll information. Both documents can be found under the Forms and Tools tab.
If do not receive your W-2 Statement by February 15 or you still have questions after reading the W-2 Tax Information document, please send an email to PayrollHelp@newschool.edu, or call us at 212.229.5674 x4963.
