Computer Labs

Over the past four years, the University has invested more than $30 million in a series of extensive labs and Information Technology services. The largest lab, at Arnhold Hall, consists of state-of-the-art technology spread over four floors. Six hundred networked workstations include all relevant platforms. Computer and hands-on classrooms support multimedia, web design and desktop publishing as well as word-processing and research. Specialized labs support academic programs requiring professional video, modeling, animation, and recording facilities.

The labs are set up with a variety of printing options, and large format photo-quality printing orders can be processed at the Print Output Center. Students receive printing accounts at the start of each semester and use their NetID and password to print. Learn more with our Printing Tip Sheet.

Campus Network

While on campus, students can take advantage of the university wireless Internet network. Digital projectors, surround sound, and active white boards feed into equipment racks that enable presentation of all media types in the classroom.
