Recommended for prospective, applied, or admitted graduate students. Tours are ideal for anyone who would like to see our campus and get a feel for the school, but who is not looking for answers to specific academic or admission questions. Tours do not have to be scheduled in advance. Student-led Graduate Admission Tours leave at noon, Monday through Friday, from the Office of Graduate Admissions, 72 5th Avenue, 3rd floor, New York City, except on Fridays during the summer months and on national holidays when all university offices are closed. Parsons does not support self-guided tours.
Recommended for prospective graduate students who have not yet submitted an application or who have recently been admitted to Parsons (not recommended for applicants awaiting and admission decision). If you have questions about a Parsons graduate program or would like more information about applying, request an appointment with an admissions counselor by emailing ThinkParsonsGrad@newschool.edu.
Recommended for prospective and admitted graduate students. To learn more about a specific graduate curriculum and department, make an appointment to speak with the program director. Find contact information in the faculty directory.
Recommended for prospective and admitted graduate students. Class visitations are not available for all graduate programs at Parsons. The MA programs are the most able to accommodate visitors: To observe a Fashion StudiesĀ or Design Studies class, email Rebecca Nison (nisonr@newschool.edu); to observe a History of Decorative Arts and Design class, email Salvador Munoz (munozs@newschool.edu). For all other departments, email the program director to see if a class visitation is possible. Find contact information in the faculty directory.
Recommended for prospective graduate students. Information sessions hosted by the graduate admissions office provide a brief overview of Parsons, The New School, and the various Parsons graduate programs. Admission counselors explain the admission and financial aid process, and allow for Q & A. These sessions are ideal for prospective students who have not yet applied to a program. As sessions are scheduled, the dates are posted at Graduate Admission Events.
