
The Angelo Donghia Materials Library and Study Center, funded by the Angelo Donghia Foundation, is comprised of a library, a gallery, a computer lab, and a lecture hall. The Library allows students and faculty to review and check out state-of-the-art resources, putting the latest and most exclusive materials at their fingertips. Regular exhibitions at the gallery run by a full-time curator are open to the public, creating an open forum and dialogue with the larger interior design community.
A resource collection supporting art, architecture and design degree programs offered by the Parsons The New School for Design. The collection consists of approximately 45,000 book volumes, 350 periodical titles (200 current), 70,000 slides and 45,000 picture files. Special Collections holdings number over 4,000, including many rare and valuable items.
A repository for archival materials relating to the history of art and design, with a special focus on the history of the school and the careers of its faculty, students, alumni, and other associates.
In addition to the Gimbel Library at Parsons, degree students have access to the Raymond Fogelman Library, Visual Resource Collection, and the Harry Scherman Library.
The University is a member of the Research Library Associate of South Manhattan which allows degree students access to collections at New York University, Cooper Union, New York Historical Society, among others.
