Students studying abroad at Parsons Paris will receive the same financial aid they did in New York, including FAFSA aid and any scholarships granted by The New School or Parsons. Students interested in studying in Paris should consider visiting Student Financial Services to understand how their cost of attendance may change with travel.
Students studying abroad through the exchange partner institutions program continue to pay their Parsons tuition. (The tuition at the host institution is waived.) FAFSA aid and scholarships from The New School and Parsons remain applicable. Students interested in studying with one of Parsons' exchange partner institutions should consider visiting Student Financial Services to see how their cost of attendance may change with travel.
Students attending any other institution for study abroad are responsible for the host program/institution's tuition as well as the Student Health Services fee at Parsons. FAFSA aid may be applicable through a consortium or exchange agreement. Any aid granted by The New School or Parsons will not be applicable for the student's term abroad. Students are required to visit Student Financial Services to discuss applying their financial aid to other programs and institutions.
Students planning to study abroad are advised to review pages 21–24 of The New School's Financing Solutions Guide (PDF).
