Steve Cornwell (Ed.D., Temple University; M.A.T., School for International Training; ELT Certificate, New School) is a Professor at Osaka Jogakuin College in Osaka, Japan. He is co-editor of New Ways in Teacher Education, TESOL, Inc. and editor of the Jalt Journal, the research publication of the Japan Association for Language Teaching. He has taught or presented on EFL/ESL in New York City, Bangladesh, China, Ecuador, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan. In addition to teacher education and helping language teachers publish academically, he is interested in online education, curriculum design, gender awareness in language education, world Englishes and their related issues, and qualitative research methodologies. In his spare time he has been known to enjoy a good movie and frequent various ethnic food restaurants in Osaka with his wife, Yoshiko.
