Michele Beck
Michele Beck is a multidisciplinary artist working with video, sound and performance. She has been teaching courses in video production at The New School since 2001 and also teaches at the International Center for Photography. Her work has been shown at venues including: The ICA in London, The Blaffer Gallery at The Art Museum at the University of Texas Museum, Galerie Chez Valentin in Paris, France, The Bronx Museum, and The Queens Museum of Art. Ms. Beck has received grants from New York Foundation for the Arts, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and the Trust for Mutual Understanding and attended residencies at Yaddo, CAMAC in France and ARTELEKU in Spain. She has a BA from New York University in Art History and a MFA from Parsons School of Design.
