Celesti Colds Fechter
Ph.D., Associate Dean for Academic Services
Celesti Colds Fechter received her Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research, where she is currently Associate Dean for Academic Services. Dr. Colds Fechter is a psychologist with a background in social cognition with an emphasis on implicit or unconscious associations and subtle forms of biased behavior as measured by the Implicit Association Test (IAT), which demonstrates conscious-unconscious divergence. Her current research interests include implicit gender and race associations among human resources professionals and self-identification hierarchies among Black American, West African, and Afro-Caribbean women.View Portrait
