Margarita Gutman
Associate Professor
Ms. Gutman received her degree in architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, and went on to teach architectural and urban history at Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo, Universidad de Buenos Aires between 1975 and 1993, where she holds a Chair and is Full Professor of Urban History since 2004. She has been a Scholar at The Getty Research Institute, and at The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. In New York, she has been a Visiting Fellow at the NYU International Center for Advanced Studies, and a Senior Fellow at The Vera List Center of Art and Politics. Ms. Gutman has published numerous books and articles, including editing the prize-winning Buenos Aires 1910: Memoria del Porvenir (1999), and Construir Bicentenarios: Argentina (2005).View Portrait
