Recent panels and papers presented at conferences of the International Communication Association, the Environmental Design Research Association, and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Executive Coordinator for the Urban Communication Foundation.   2010-12 Fellow at The Center for the Advancement of Public Action, Bennington College. Editorial Board, The Irish Communications Review. Former Chair, The Dept. of Film/Video/Broadcasting, New York University. Former Chair of the Department of Communication Arts and Director of the Television Institute, Hofstra University.
