Royal S. Brown is a Professor at Queens College and The Graduate Center, C.U.N.Y. He is the author of Focus on Godard, Overtones and Undertones: Reading Film Music, and Film Musings: A Selected Anthology from Fanfare Magazine, as well as numerous articles, reviews, and critiques.
