Lynne Sachs  makes essay films that weave together personal memoirs, collage, intricate sound design and poetry. Her experimental documentaries work in the space between a community's collective memory and her own perceptions. Lynne's films have screened at the New York Film Festival, Sundance, and the Museum of Modern.
