There is no typical Milano School student. The Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management is designed for people seeking to advance careers in the field and career changers, but applicants of all ages from all walks of life are welcome. The only prerequisite to apply is a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. You can take the program full-time or part-time. You may be able to transfer up to nine credits to the Milano School master's program for relevant graduate-level courses taken at this or another college or university.
Applications are evaluated based on stated academic and career goals, moral commitment and civic engagement, and academic achievement. Your statement of purpose and letters of recommendation are carefully reviewed for evidence of interpersonal skills, maturity, and leadership potential, among other qualities. A decision to admit will reflect the committee's belief in your potential to successfully complete an advanced degree.
We want to get to know you. You are invited to set an informal, informational one-on-one session with one of our admission counselors. It is an opportunity for you to share your passions and goals and learn more about the fit of our program.
