Jennifer joined the Office of Career Development in 2005. She has 10 years of experience in higher education administration and counseling as well as experience in community action, cross-cultural consulting, immigrant rights, TESOL, and career and life coaching. Jennifer was the only university representative invited to the United Nations International Organization Career Development Roundtable at The Hague, Netherlands and in 2008 delivered training there on Generations In and Entering the Workforce. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University and a Master of International/Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. She earned her BA in Cultural Anthropology and Psychology at Hunter College CUNY. She is highly interested in understanding how the arts speak to and for the human experience and in counseling for humanitarian aid workers.
When she isn’t working, Jennifer enjoys watching movies (she has rated over 4,000 films on Netflix), checking out new music, thinking up new ways to connect people, and racking up international travel miles. Recent trips include Japan and Haiti.

Strangest Work Experience: As an undergraduate, I worked as a messenger at the United Nations, and during the first Gulf War, I was seen on TV several times, including a press conference with Secretary General Javier Pérez de Cuellar and televised meetings of the Security Council. Surreal.
