  • International Students

International Student Services (ISS) welcomes you to our international community.

Please read the following important information. It includes policies that new international students need to know and information about activities during New Student Orientation.

    ISS Holds

A hold will be placed on the student accounts of any international students who fail to check in or attend the mandatory orientations. To prevent a hold being placed on your account, check in with ISS promptly and follow instructions about mandatory orientations. Also, remember that your completed immunization forms and required documentation must be received for you to register and attend classes.

    International Student Check-in Location

All international students, professors, and scholars must officially check in with ISS every time they enter the U.S. and at the beginning of every fall and spring semester. Visit the ISS website for more information. Check back after July 22, 2013 for check-in dates and locations.

Students must bring originals of the following documents with them to the ISS check-in:

    • Passport
    • Visa
    • I-94 card
    • I-20/DS-2019

    Drop-In Advising

Drop-in advising takes place on Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:45 p.m. at the ISS office. ISS advisors are available to see students for quick questions during drop-in advising. For complicated cases, please call the ISS office to schedule an appointment.
